Straight to the Bishop's Palace... Photo

Photographer’s Note

Hello All,
Today another shot from Koszalin city centre with very charming small street between medieval XIV - century Cathedral building (on the L hand side) and interesting mix brand new ones and medieval houses (R hand side).
The street leads us straight to the palace door. This palace is the residence of Koszalin - Kolobrzeg Diocese Bishop, His Eminency Edward Dajczak.

btw...nice idea to have us walking with you through your city. I immediately recognize the church on the left. red bricked churches are very "polish"

Hello Chris,

Yes, your photo reminds me how I was sick at last (this) Christmas and missed photographing Bishop's all worships. The old texture created by terracotta bricks are just amazing for me. The ancient facade smells history and you very well captured old and new parts of city together. Excellently build POV adds very good depth and create perspective of alley. Congratulations.

Well composed and very good color tone/contrast!
It's interesting the contrast between brick-making Cathedral building of left side and shopping ones of right side. If the person is walking on this road, better atmosphere might have been able to be put out.

Ciekawy sposob obrazowania kolorow - w stylu ORWO z lat 70 poprzedniego wieku.
Fajne poprzez kontrast.
Bylo by jeszcze ciekawsze gdyby w kadrze cos zaiskrzylo - cos sie dzialo, mia³a by miejsce jakas interakcja.

kontrasty i kolory, które wypracowa³e¶ na swoich zdjêciach, sprawiaj±, ¿e miasto-ulica, niby znane, a jednak inne, bardziej interesuj±ce, nie takie szaro-pospolito-codzienne. Bardzo mi siê podoba.

Tak bez przeczytania opisu przyzwyczajony Twoimi irlandzkimi zdjeciami zastanawialem sie w ktorym miejscu w Irlandii bylo to zrobione;)) Na sczescie sklep zdradzil mi ze to w Polsce...potem opis. Swietna tonacja i tak cicho i spokojnie ze az milo popatrzec po swietach. Fota podoba sie!!
