Photographer’s Note

Hello Trekkies,
Il Dottore is back after some break (initially too much work, than X-mas in Poland).
I have got for you now a set of pictures from Koszalin - my home town!
Koszalin is placed in northern part of Poland. It is really nice town with lot of interesting buildings (including medieval ones) and fantastic surroundings - Baltic Sea, endless forests and hundreds of lakes.
First image from my new set is medieval house of Koszalin's hangman!
This XV century gothic building currently (since 1964) belongs to Experimental Theatre "Dialog".
Medieval Koszalin had an executioners post since 1464.
Executions of people sentenced to death by hanging were being carried out at the "Hanged Men Hill" (currently at the extension of Dabrowskiego Street) and at the Market Place.
Since 1718 the place of executions was located nearby the city walls, today is the extension of Boguslawa II Street.
The executioner was employed in Koszalin for the last time in 1893 but he used to live in his house still in the 30's of the last century.

In PP I tried to expose a profession of former house owner...
HAPPY NEW YEAR DEAR TREKKIES!!! :)
