The gardens are in an extremely warm climate zone 7b, where the winters are mild and there is much more rainfall than other parts of the country. The gardens have been awarded many times, including by the Polish Tourist Organisation.Garden area is over 4 acres. The essence of these gardens is to show the plants in the garden compositions and their use in the various gardens (hence the lack of name tags). Visiting Gardens Hortulus, beyond the obvious contact with nature, provide aesthetic experiences and spiritual. So, too, the gardens are divided thematically. Among them are classic, such as Japanese, French, Mediterranean, and those related to the environment: garden stone, rock and water. Gardens are also useful as herbal or vegetable.
