Photographer's Note

My city - The town hall.
The present town hall was built in 1828 and was designed by J.H.Haeberlin - an associate of famous Prussian architect K.Schinkel. It is situated in the middle of the main square, which is built-up with tenements from the 19-th century. At the beginning it was a brick, two-storeyed building with a loft and an open courtyard. This structure was converted in 1862 and 1948, since then it hasn't changed a lot.

Belles couleurs, surtout ce ciel impressionnant qui a avec son bleu, l'art de bien dégager le jaune du bâtiment.

Good sharpness & graphism with a marvellous warm cold color contrast between the blue sky & yellow ochre facade of the building. Excellent contrasted light & tonal range with splendid perspective. Tfs!

A beautiful architecture. I like the red and blue in the front. The black clock goes well on this yellow facade. Nice sharp image with superb colors and lighting.

bylem pare dni odciety od internetu,
maila oczywiscie maila odczytalem i nie omieszkam Cie odwiedzic,
moze w marcu bo na razie bede mial przerwe na budowie.

Mysle ze niebawem bedzie mi dane zobaczyc ten piekny ratusz na zywo. Tylko chyba nie w takich warunkach pogodowych. Piekne kolory i cieplutkie przyjemne swiatlo,

Czesc Krzysztof,
wydaje mi sie ze tego ratusza jeszcze nie widzialem. Niemozliwe zebys nie pokazywal go wczesniej znajac Ciebie. Tak czy owak uroczy budynek z interesujaca architektura, zupelnie odmienny od ratuszy do jakich jestem przyzwyczajony.
Na dodatek piekny sloneczny dzien zaowocowal wspanialymi kolorami.

the yellow colour makes it stand out well against the blue sky creating a very appealing chromatic contrast and the path in the centre gives a fine perspective.
