Photographer's Note

Pila – picturesquely situated town on the river Gwda in the borderland of western Pomeranian and Great Poland. Over a half of its area is occupied by woodlands and parks which take the land between modern housing districts. Numerous lakes add to the town's beauty.
The town is surrounded by beautiful countryside and unspoiled nature which offers active forms of entertainment attracting both Polish and foreign tourists.

An attractive winter scene, well composed with the stream masking a good lead-line and giving the image depth. The subdued lighting enhances the wintry mood.

Hello Tadeusz - A wonderfully moody winter scene; I do like the overall darkness here it adds so much atmosphere to the shot and the composition with the ice-rimmed river and skeletal trees is a super subject under this light. Warm regards rosemary
