Saint John the Baptist parish church in Krotoszyn.
Building 1592-1597.

Krotoszyn is a town in central Poland with 30,010 inhabitants as of 2005. It has been part of the Greater Poland Voivodeship since 1999; it was within Kalisz Voivodeship from 1975 to 1998.

In the German era, this town was in the Prussian province of Posen. The dominant trade is in grain and seeds, and the headquarters of the Polish branch of Mahle GmbH is located there. The castle of Krotoszyn was the centre of a mediatized principality formed in 1819 out of the holdings of the Prussian crown and granted to the prince of Thurn and Taxis in compensation for his relinquishing control over the Prussian postal system.

The beauty of Polish churches always surprises me. The architecture is remarkable. The colors in the photo are excellent. The bird adds something remarkable. Very good quality. Bravo.

kolejna perlka z nieubitych drozek turystycznych ;-) Ladne kolory i dobrze zbalansowana biel. Dobra kompozycja i ostrosc. Niebo moze ciutke za niebieskie, ale i tak calosc mi sie podoba.

Piêkny ko¶ciól w krotoszynie. Jego architektura i kolorystyka powala na kolana. Ko¶ció³ w barokowym stylu a ceglana wie¿a dzwonnicy jakby gotycka. Efekt zaiste bardzo ciekawy. Doskona³a jako¶c obrazu.

You show the church from an excellent angle. That beautiful blue sky with white lines of clouds is an excellent backdrop and contrasts strong with the red tiles.

You're capturing well this church by a good composition and excellent tone/clarity, so it's impressive to see remarkable church with red roof, the wall with creamy color and tower. It's harmonized well with blue sky. And, spme streaming clouds in the sky draw out a good effect in this image.
