Cruising III Photo

Photographer’s Note

You have to take your camera and walk through the city. You must do it every day. You are hungry with photos. You salivate meeting every interesting situation. Your fingers tremble, but you must push the shutter. You have to hunt.
Cruising the city, looking for picture to take. Some day you came back home satiating, some day with empty net. But it is not important. Next day you will cruise again. Addicted to hunt for new photos...

Sometimes your effort is rewarded... thrice...

Excellent photograph presented in B&W. I particularly like the grainy effect and how the stairs at the bottom become very, very dark as if you are walking into oblivion.

Your note is superb. 2 points for the note - 2 points for the great photograph. :)

Schodzą jak do Hadesu i nic a nic się nie boją. Jakby tam było ich miejsce ;)) W temacie "trzy gracje" - absolutnnie bomba.

Je vois que les escaliers et les femmes t'ont également bien inspiré.

Very nice composition and framing. A very natural shot no planning and superb execution. I love the strong backlight and the way light on stairs is getting reduced to single line stroke. And I must say that B/W makes it very graphical.

witaj, podobaja mi sie te schody na dole, jak linijki w zeszycie albo jakaś wielolinia (w negatywie). dziewczyny jak dziewczyny, to przeciez nie Twój przedział wiekowy....

you are absolutely right with your notes Jan..
walking around the streets, sometimes waiting for models to including the photo is an another excitement.. and you have three beautiful models on the stairs here.. love their same steps and the effect of the tones..

Thank you for reminding me the times I did exactly what you write in your note: roaming the city looking for interesting situations to catch in Orwo B&W film with that fantastic grain that stood out when printed high contrast paper. I would be proud of this one if it was mine. I like the play of "casual portrait", sensuality and the graphic impact of the shiny horizontal lines of the steps.
