The neverending coal story Photo

Photographer’s Note

One day I met this man, his horses and his cart in the main street of Bytom. I didn't know who he is. So I've done my private investigation and this series of photos is the result.
His name is Sylwester Jagla and he transports coal from Bobrek coal mine with his horses and his cart. He is the only man in Bytom who carries coal using horses.

This is the seventh photo presented here. I presume Mr. Jagla and his friends deserve it.

i read the recent forum about how to make portraits. so, while walking with your camera, you saw him, approached to him, started talking to him and requested his permittance to make photos?
polish people on TE seem to be the most social of all. you all go and speak to people who you don't know. funny, because polish people are known to be not so warm blooded. you all prove the contrary.

You had a good approach with the people working in the coal mine and made an interesting series(the happy miners II is excellent).
Here, I like the gentle expression of the only and probably last man to use the horses for transportation!
The tight framing is working well!
