Photographer’s Note

This is special photo. It has been taken in 21 October 1989, so exactly 17 years ago. This girl was 4 and now she is 21.
I named this photo "Golden girl" due to to dominating colour, but this title is also symbolic.
Did you ever want to live in golden cage? Without any problems, with a lot of money? Certainly you did. But the reality is quite different. Sometimes life is too cruel for us. The scratches on the window of the cabin are symbols of difficult way of life...

But this girl seems to be happy then and I know she is happy now. Her smile brings hope and gives love.

This photo is special also due to my anniversary. Two years ago I joined the TE community...

Photo taken in a cabin of cable-railway to Szyndzielnia with Zenith TTL camera, ORWO dia, then scanned with Microtek FilmScan 3600 and retouched in PS.

my daughter is now 28 and my pics of her at 8 are similar..ways are diverse
the gold is a nice and pleasant change from sepia..did you use a special part of your software to do it..

Dlugo nie moglem znalezc tego specjalnego slowa na to zdjecie.
Jest takie naturalne, niewymuszone, a przeciez ta aureola złota nad jej głową - i to juz nie mala dziewczynka, ale ksiezniczka ktora wyrosnie na

Od razu gdy zobaczyłem to zdjęcie poczułem, że przypomina mi stare czasy, zdjęcia z przedszkola i inne tego typu miłe sprawy ;)
