Simple view of a not-so-simple artist...
I fished for various sophisticated POVs (see my previous posts), i run a quest to find out some artistic version of her and her friend playing the instruments... But, hell, nothing was good enough to compete with the beauty of HER and her music... I stayed in awe for long...

I like it. Her particular expression. The delicacy of her hands playing the instrument. The instrument itself, esp. emphasizing the "stick" used for playing it, in good 3d feeling. The excellent light, again.

Hi Jerzy,
how lucky you where that you finally succeeded in creating this stunning portrait! The phantastic light on the cello stands in a nice contrast to the grey wall. But most of all it is the expression on her face that creates a magical atmosphere.
Bravo!
Best regards
Harriet

Simple view of a not-so-simple artist...is well done and it is much impressive by all aspects,
TFS.

Hi Jerzy,

I feel, she was posing for you......and her beauty carried you away to another woorld.

I agree with every iota to what Poloniase has said............murdered the beauty, but that was bound to happen.
It was not at all your fault...............
I have made a small workshop...for the beautiful lady.

Take Care

Rajeev

Hmmm...???
Her beauty is outstanding ( I know... I know... It's not your fault :-)))
Her hands, the grace of the bow and the depth of the color of her cello...
The elegance of that part of your photo is breathtaking...

And then comes another part...

Shitty and messy...
Unpleasant, chaotic, partly cut stands and a bloody ugly purse...

Beauty and the beast...?
Pretty cellist and the plastic clips ???

Where is the logic ? Where is the sense of beauty and harmony...

Her beauty was a gift for a photographer...
It came free to you...
What was the reason to spoil such grace with the artificial surroundings ... Beats me !

Thousand green points for her father's sperm and her mother's eggs...

Nothing for you...Niente !

Disappointed and mad like hell - Polonaise !

...............

Jerzy, the detail and the crisp focus in this one is amazing. The composition is also grand, the formal instrument, the jeans with holes, the elegant woman, it is a well seen shot, great capture.

Greg

Attracted by the light, the poise, the expression- the natural beauty which seems to shjne off the screen - not just the skin deep kind but the 'love of form is not the form of love ' kind.....and in some ways I like the clutter and the plastic which George finds so offensive......BUT.....I do not condone the music leaving stage left ....normally i would say that this would draw my eye off the page but there is something so compelling about her look....the depth of her engagement with the music that the stand actually creates enough of a triangle to take the eye back to her again and again......so a different reaction and observation from me....yes it could be improved compositionally of course but something really works for me here that is beyond the superficial......

A quick version without clutter in the workshop to compare.........she has an incredible pull and inner beauty.

What a splendor !!! Taken in the streets... Last photos were already superb, but... This photo deserves more success certainly ! She certainly inspired you ! What a light, what an expression !
(I like both WS too...)
Admiration,
Cath.

No nie wiem czy takie "simple" - swiatlo i cien pierwsza klasa a i moment dobrany swietnie bo uchwyciles niesamowite skupienie i radosc z muzyki tej pieknej i zdolnej kobiety..
Bardzo mi sie do zdjecie podoba,
pozdrawiam

Hey Jerzy,
Remarkable woman indeed. The light and tones superb. But I have to admit it, I like the workshop better - it eliminates the non-essentials and distractions.

Hello Jerzy. Simple. A wonderful study. Composition, light, color, - everything is in the best way. Very beautifully. Best regards, Wolfgang.

well, i guess george and kev have already said all that has to be said here. so i can just join the chorus ;)) the clutter distracts me as well. on that note, i have to admit: both workshops (kevryan and polonaise's) suggest excellent solutions working just with what's at hand here. their versions look, umm... if i may say so... more poetic :)

regards,
kristaps

ps. oh yeah. almost forgot. that SPACE george has given her above her head: i agree 200%.

A ja bym tak nie ciela, jak zrobil to Polonez...
Tutaj wlasnie zostawilabym akcesoria, z wyjatkiem...torby, no i moze wyczyscilabym kawalek muru w gornym, lewym rogu, ale zostawilabym ten instrument miedzy rtqflwxb, no i te partycje...
Dobre, piekne, z wyczuciem.
Pozdr. G.

And hi again. Jerzy.

This is a very different version of the same girl playing the violin.
Frontal view with a nice composition and nice light too.

Simple but very good and nice work.

Regards.
