When I was flying over the ocean, suddenly I saw such twins islands standing out of the water and clouds. They must be a volcanic origin, I guess. I captured them a while before the sunrise.

P.S. They are just reminders of the trees covered by sand few thousands years ago... On the Baltic shore in Rowy village.

Hi Henryk,
Fantastic photo, it's stunning to see this view over the sea from such a great POV. Great lighting and the two islands are very well included in the foreground. The curved horizon looks also wonderful. Excellent photo work, thanks for sharing!

Astonishing shot ! a really nice realisation...congratulations

Hello Henryk
impressive shot
excellent work
congrats

Hello, such a wonderful shot. I do not really understand the scale. Is it little islands or is it trees looking like little islands ? however, this is great. Geraldine

Hi Henryk,
Woooww, altgough the notes clearly explain what they are, the photo still looks intriguing. Very interesting composition with sharp details on the two 'islands'.
Best regards. Salvator.

Hello Henryk,
very nice the two island getting out of the sea of cloud.
where were you for taking this shot?
regards
didier

I'm a bit confused; was this really taken from a plane? I'm guessing the cloud look is actually the effect of your slow shutter on the waves and you have exaggerated the barrel distortion of your lens for the curvature of the earth. However you did it, the result is wonderful with lovely soft pastel colours. Good work
Kath

Hello Henryk,
A very strange image showing to the least of my knowledge two weather-beaten butts, also serving as hosts for different vegetation...
An amazing composition, didn't quite get how this was done but the atmosphere is awesome!
Greetings,
Pablo -

Witaj!
Super kompozycja,piękny efekt,.ładne kolory i dobra.

To takie tam teoretyczne rozważania w chwili wolnego czasu.

Pozdrawiam raz jeszcze

Hej Henryku
Wspaniałe - to zdjęcie jest wspaniałe!!!
Jestem zachwycona jego wyj±tkowo¶ci± i urod±, ale i Twoim talentem do artystycznego postrzegania, i przedstawiania ¶wiata...

Zwyczajny nadmorski widok urósł tu do rangi naszej planety widzianej z kosmosu.

Zachwycona, pozdrawiam :)

Zdjecia z piatki maja bajeczna plastyke kolorow.

Hi Henryk. That lava must be guano then! Nice capture. Good use of SS and wide angle lens. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Henryk,

this is a superb composition. The 8 seconds seem to be the perfect time for the effect we see on the water. Usually I don't like curved horizon lines I must confess that it was a clever idea in this case. A pleasant seen indeed. Great shot!

Hello Henryk,
Great eye and creativity to find out these 'islands'!!
The long exposure created a great milky look which contrasts well with the darker tones of the tree trunks.

Hello Henryk
Flying over the ocean, or hanging in midair to take the 8 sec. shot! Simply marvellous, especially with the softness of the clouds & water. Conjured out of a fairy tale with the curved horizon. You're definitely an artist Henryk...my respects!

Hello Henryk,
A fascinating dreamy picture with quite a sci-fi feeling, it makes me think of flying low over some small watery planet. The dead tree trunks are very beautiful and do indeed look like small islands seen from high up and the 8-second exposure has given the water a soft, otherworldly feel. One thing I’m curious about: how did you create the curving horizon with a 24 mm lens? Postproduction?
Anyway it's very nice work.

Hi Henryku,

beautiful, interesting work – for a second, seeing this, a previous picture from your gallery, that fish-eye mountain landscape, came to my mind (I guess it was because of the distortion and also something else which I cannot tell exactly). And I thought of this ‘ocean’ image by comparison with that one: the different, opposite, I’d say, atmosphere: while ‘solidity’, ‘stability’, ‘warmth’ would describe the mountain landscape, something between ‘ethereal’ and ‘fluid’, also ‘movable’ and ‘chilly’, would be appropriate (my point of view) for the ‘ocean’ photo.
Nice flying vision – as I look down I can see the earth as it may have looked like long, long time ago, a strange feel of a human-less planet.
Love the colours.

Image from another world, spectacular view indeed, excellent work Henryk, compliments.
