Photographer’s Note

Walking up from the Vistula I saw the Old Town in Tczew from the side I'd never seen before. This used to be a welcoming, but not particularly interesting town for me, a place where I visited my family,not paying attention to the town itself. During this one walk a week ago I found it worth some exploration...and I'll come back to it, but for now this is the last photo from Tczew as it was exactly by this old church that my camera batteries went flat...

Great dramatic atmosphere in this picture. Superb. Jajajaja, it's the typicall place where "The Adams" could live.

The POV & definition is good as well.

cześć olu, widzę, że masz styl mocno dopiesczony już, bardzo dobrze pasuje clarify do starej architektury; podoba mi się ten twój nowy kierunek, ciekawe jak wielką rolę odgrywa niebo w tych kompozycjach;

Deep "dark" atmosphere of a photo conveyed - I can almost hear a solitary black crow flapping its wings amongst the empty streets.

Oh, great picture Alex!! Really nice dramatic effect you captured here! Good compo with the leafless tree on the right framing the old church. Good details and framing, while smartly choosing sephia (wonder how does the original and a B&W version would look like...). What kind of PP other than Sephia did you applied here..?

Zebrały sie czarne chmury nad kościołem.
Bardzo efektowne zdjęcie, tonacja bardzo pasuje do tego rodzaju architektury.
Będę musiał się kiedyś wybrać do Tczewa bo widzę, że są tam ciekawe miejsca.

une vue bien dramatisée avec ce traitement et sépia et les lumières et contrastes puissants.
Le prise en contre-plongée accentue un peu l'imposance de ce bâtiment.

widzê jakby realizacjê kolorów wydobywanych przez Jurka w Paincie. Ciekawa kompozycja i budowla, jaki¶ ko¶ció³ chyba, dok³adnie nie znam Tczewa . Podoba mi siê, Olu.

Ale jaja Aleksandro,

coraz bardziej podoba mi sie to co robisz w postprocessingu. Widze ze idzies teraz w tym bardzo dramatycznym kierunku. Dobre jest to ze starannie dobierasz kadry do tego stylu.
