Tczew bridge 3 Photo

Photographer’s Note

The oldest existing bridge over the Vistula(built in 1857), directly connects Tczew and a small village Lisewo, and is called Lisewski Bridge for this reason. The American Engineering Society included it in the list of international monuments pf architecture (you'll find the Eiffel Tower in the same list)and at the time of its construction by Prussian engineers it was the longest bridge in Europe, one of the longest in the world- over 800 m.

Beautiful picture, Alex! I like the never-ending perspective, the details and the Sephia tone, adding atmosphere enhancing the graphical details of the iron construction. Really nice one!

No, ta wersja to juz mistrzostwo swiata. Wpatruje sie w to zdjecie i musze powiedziec, ze dziala na mnie niemal hipnotycznie, ciezko sie oderwac, a nieskonczonosc planu doprowadza do pelnej iluzji. Dawno nic mnie tak nie poruszylo i chociaz preferuje zdjecia zwiazane z ludzmi, to mnie powala... Pozdrawiam i az boje sie co bedzie dalej. maki

Hi Aleksandra. One of the best combinations of perspective and graphical impact that I have seen on TE in a while - very compelling to see this array of metal beams and bolts. Good post-work with the contrast and the sepia toning, too, very nice.

Good shot and nice post process. I don't know for the tilt. For some raison, I would prefer the perspective to be perfectely straight. IMO,the sharpeness has been pushed a bit to far. Still I like it a lot.

Ostatnio siedze w podobnych, sepiowych klimatach. Rewelacyjne zdjecie! Perspektywa, glebia ostrosci, powtarzalnosc konstrukcji, symetrie - swietnie to wyglada w sepii.
