Photographer’s Note

Hello
Winter has just started. We have the longest night behind (on north hemisphere of course). On this occasion I decided to warm our cold bodies ;). The image was taken over Slupia in july - hot, sunny day, when all was green and happy :).
I wish you a merry winter :).
And merry Christmas (for thoso who celebrate it) :)

Wonderful contrast between the deep blue sky with the cotonous clouds and the vibrat greens of the vegetation. The reflections in the river guiding us all across the picture are excellent. very good shot, merry xmas to you as well!

Wonderful light here Henryk, and the highly saturated colours give this a strong immediate impact.
There's more to this than just colour though; the composition is well considered, with good use of the lines of the waterway to draw the eye into the scene.
A welcome reminder of summer on this grey misty day.

A gorgeous exposure, wonderfully saturated. To me, the 50/50 composition works really well and the photo is hugely warming as you desired.

Tym klimatem za³atwi³e¶ wszystko. Jak nie ma ¶niegu to niech jest lipcowo (ale nie o tej porze roku) a co moze te zmiany klimatu zanosz± sie powa¿nie ;-). Ale do zdjêcia, fajny klimat i kolorystyka, super niebo i odbicie w wodzie. Podoba siê.

Fantastyczny letni krajobraz z oknem na S³upiê :). Obraz jest przepyszny i to zarówno w kolorach i ¶wietle, jak i w kompozycji. ¦liczne s± odbicia 'niebiañskich owieczek' w wodzie. Zdjêcie oddaje panuj±c± nad wod± ciszê i spokój, jak te¿ i ciep³o lipcowej pogody. A¿ têskno mi siê zrobi³o za latem... A w obraz siê wpatrujê, bo foto nadzwyczajne i bardzo mi siê podoba :)

This is very beautiful. As you know, I'm a big fan of saturated colours and I love the intensity of the colours here. The perspective is good and the reflections are the icing on the cake. Nice one!!!

Hi Henryk, nice idea to place a summer photo in the Christmas time, I did the same!;) The reflections of clouds are absolutely stunning, and actually look brighter that the sky itself, while most of the time it is the other way around...

Hi Henryk, I had a look at your gallery - you really know how to bring the best out of the sky & clouds. (Do you use a regular polarizing filter?) This is one of my favourites - the wispy, fickle clouds drifting in a clear
blue sky brings late autumn days to mind. Great reflections too. A dreamy image...well done! Regards,

When I see clouds like this, I want to drop everything and seach for their perfect frame. This grassy meadow lined with trees is just rigt. The reflection is a nice bonus. We've been having the clouds lately but I don't know of such a green and fertile area nearby in this desert in which I live. HLJ, Pat

Czesc! Dzis znalazlem sobie w Twojej galerii ten krajobrazik, po przeczytaniu notatki smutno sie robi bo wprawdzie to nie grudzien ale, jesien juz nadciaga, szaro, buro i ponuro... A tutaj taka eksplozja letnich kolorow, czuc cieplo tego dnia :) Bardzo fajna kompozycja ze swietnymi odbiciami na wodzie.

Ponownie zagłębiłem się w Twoje ALBUMY. Jest tego. Oj jest. I chyba będę długo się zagłębiał i przeglądał. Ty też się zagłębiłeś (by zrobić dla nas to zdjęcie). Gdzieś w szuwary - w piękną nieskalaną naturę. Strach pomysleć, że takich miejsc może zabraknąć. Jest tu feria barw ... i .... Brak mi słów. Jest pięknie, jest cudnie. Pięknie nam to pokazałeś.
