Photographers Note
One more view at my town. I don`t know a history of this building, so I just show it :).
In a WS you can see the capture from other (rainy) day.

Hallo Henryk!
It seems that you life in a beautiful city. These well preserved nice houses with the funny spires and your last pictures show it. In this photo I like the colours very much and the play of light and shadows.
Greetings from grey, warm and rainy Siegen - and have a good weekend!

Hello Henryk. This one is very dramatic, in the lighting and the colour. The slightly blurred little car whizzing by gives energy to the shot. I like the sight of that blurred face through the windscreen. A great mix of light and shadow in this high contrast picture which could have been so ordinary. Well done.

Andrew

Hi Henryk,
Comparing original and WS, it is incredible how the place could look differently under various weather conditions. Nevertheless both photos have great sky, while here the range of colours is wider, which gives better depth of field.

Hi :)
It was a little bit difficult to choose between this image and the one in WS. I like the main post (the sunlight makes the beautiful architecture of the building very pleasant to the eyes) but the image in the WS "speaks" to me more. So, if you don't mind I will add some words about that one. The atmosphere seems somehow similar to the one from "My town 3". These cloudy/rainy images have something special, moody. You brought out the best you could of the low light. I can see some vigneting effect in the bottom which, together with the reflection, add some "fairy" feel to the scene.
"November rain" you said ;)? It's a beautiful song but sad, the same way that a town may sometimes look in a rainy autumn day :)))
Bye :)

Hello
Ależ kontrasty, ależ światło, ależ kolory! ;).
I tu bym mogłabym skończyć... no ale powiem jeszcze słówko ;).
Pozdrawiam
PS: Wersja w WS również się bardzo podoba; jest taka nastrojowa... a to pewnie przez to niebo...

Obviously the main attraction is the antique building and the cloud formations in the background. I was thinking a lot about the car and I still can decide if it is an important element or distractive element to this shot. Perfect timing to get the light coming in so diagonally and giving the enhancing shadows around the house. Nice town that you got, Henryk.

Hello Henryk,
I see you have a lot to shoot around only at your hometown and you have some great buildings to show like this one in the photo.
Nice light handling and a very nice dark, strong clouded sky contrasting well with the light striking the bulding.
The Ws photo is worth to be posted I really like it's atmosphere.

Comparing this with the WS is a great reminder the difference the light makes; not only for brightness and contrast, but the colours are very different too. In actual fact I find it difficult to choose which I like best as the rainy day version has excellent qualities too. (Like the reflections in the puddle)Good work.

Olá Henryk, nice to see some more architecture from your place. I wouldn't say that you had such big buildings around you. This one is quite interesting, with those cilinders and arabic façade. Good vertical composition, from this POV. I don't know about that car, though. The light and cloudy sky is great and the attempt in WS is also interesting.

Hi Henryk
Good shot here with very vivd colouring. The contrast is strong and well captured. I don't mind the speeding car as it doesn't intrude to much on the building. The foreground shrubs are a nice feature too, adding compositional balance. Good vivid shot.

Hi Henryk,
OUtstanding contrast and clarity here, though personally I would have cropped a little of the foreground bush to bring in the building. The fleeting car actually enhances, providing some dynamism, particularly since the driver's visage is visible. I am much enamoured with your WS version, which holds much artistic merit. Well captured, Henryk.

The building is beautiful & the play of light & shadow on it makes it even more beautiful. The colours are lovely, even that of the building peeking thru in the left.

henryk,
i know the ws photo does not have the super saturation and contrast of color but i liked the pov. on this posted one, colors are really dramatic and details are good too.only thing bothers me is teh reflected white color on the side of the building, maybe a bit of burning will take care of the problem.tfs.

Hello Henryk. I don't remember seeing this type of architecture in the cities I visited in Poland. I like it though because of the details and the colors of the roof. Its colors contrast nicely with the blue sky and the grey clouds looming above. Lovely capture of your town architecture and good use of light to express this image very well.

Hello Henryk,
This is a beautiful image of Slupsk; and I looked at the overcast day in ws. What I've learned from you is the very good balance in contrast and color saturation that you characteristically achieve. It is a very good idea to present the different moods of the same place by presenting it in different conditions of lighting. Of course, I personally like showing a building from a corner, because it shows good two-point perspective (geometric constructions B-1 and B-2 on page 122 of 'Math and the Mona Lisa.') In my own drawing, page 124 I presented two-point perspective with a hollow structure.
Warm regards,
Bulent
