Photographer’s Note

In the last days of summer I was strolling during the sunrises along the Slupia river. There was beautiful. This photo was takes just before the sun jumped over the horizon ;).

P.S. Please go back to my Dreamer2 - it isn`t a road (what some of you have written), but the frozen river...:)

Witaj Henryk!
Super mgielka. Tak, teraz juz naprawde czuc, ze lato się konczy. Cipel dni, bardzo chlode wieczory i ranki, nic, tylko na mgle polowac.
Fajna, spokojna scena, lepiej się nie zapatrzyc w te wody. Scena z Wladcy Pierscieni z Frodem i Samem spacerujacym poprzez bagniska mi sie przypomniala.

I recognize here that special atmosphere you manage to convey when showing this place: always calm, quiet, with moody light. It seems last days of summer/ beginning of autumn add even more to its silence and loneliness.
I like very much how you composed the image!

Does anybody else visit this place as often as you do :)?
One question: What does the title mean?

il faut une certaine maitrise technique pour rendre ces lumières et couleurs difficiles. Il semble que les règlages choisis soient les bons.

What a magical atmosphere you have captured here Henryk, as if we are waiting for somes kind of sprite to emerge from the mist. The delicate pink from the soon-to-rise sun is a wonderful addition to the scene both in the sky and reflected in the water. Excellent detail and sharpness in the foreground grasses.

...Well I was one of those who thought that it was a road... sorrryyy!!!!
Now about this one, I like the late afternnon atmosphere light and colours of it and the way this course of water splits the image. The shapes of the clouds and smooth colours of the sky, contrast well with the darker colours of the ground. Nice effect created by the mist also.

The mist gives an enchanting aura submerging the colorful landscape into the surreality. I have the impression that the picture has a tilt to the left side. That could be easily corrected.

As usual an entertaining comment to accompany the super photo, "...the sun jumped over the horizon,..." It was your countryman 463 years ago that showed it was the earth going around the sun, and not vice versa. But that's okay -- "the Sun Rises" for you in about seven hours. It will slide below the horizon for us here in the East Coast of the US in about two hours. Regards,

Gdy widze takie rzeczy to od razu mam ochotę wyjąć wędki z futerału i sprawdzić, co zostało po słynnych łososiach z tej rzeki... A choćby i jakiś szczupaczek... ;)
