Photographer's Note
Walking the streets of the old city in Gdansk. We had to make a stop and listen to the music of this band. I was able to get an angle that gave me reflections of the characteristic old buildings in the mouth of the instrument. The weather could have been better, with a blue sky that would have provided some more contrast, but at least I managed to include a glimpse of a blue sky reflected in the instrument.
Thanks for viewing. I wish you all a pleasant weekend.

Hello Erling,
I like your picture very much. First because it's a nice portrait. Second because your POV and light is giving a lot of importance to the tuba. We can see reflection of those nice buildings into it.
Bravo

Bonjour Erling
Un bien beau reflet sur l'instrment qui nous permet d'imaginer le cadre dans lequel évolue le musicien.Joli coup d'oeil.

Hello Erling,
I like both of the subjects in this photo. The musician is captured very well, and we can imagine the music that is coming out of his instrument. The reflected architecture is also very nice! I like playing with reflections, and even without a totally blue sky, it is still very attractive. :-)

Hej Erling,
Very cool photo and a brilliant idea to capture the buildings in the reflections from the tuba! Very crisp and clear shot with excellent colors and light. By the way, I played tuba 3 weeks ago at a party but i presume that this man can handle the instrument much better than i do(and he is probably sober also:D )Tfs!
Have a nice evening.

Hello Erling,
This is a very well composed image and the shallow DOF is excellent so the BG doesn't distract. Clever reflections in this very shiny instrument. Lovely clear photo - very well done.
Kind Regards, Ann

Ciao Erling,
ho una foto in galleria molto simile alla tua come soggetto, ed un'altra con lo stesso titolo... evidentemente abbiamo qualche cosa che ci accomuna :-))
Mi piace molto questo riflesso sul trombone, complimenti.
Un caro saluto

Hello Erling,
your composition and framing are marvellous. I like very much the way you have combined the fascinating reflection of a characteristic aspect of the city with an intimate portrait of the concentrated artist. A very intriguing element is also the reflection of people, maybe the artist's audience. The blurry grey background contrasts superbly the shiny instrument and the colourful reflection and the opposing angles of the musician and his instrument fill the frame very effectively. The great rendering of details, textures and colours is amazing and absolutely delightful. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a great week,
Ourania
