The "Gdansk Blues" Photo

Photographer’s Note

Just come back from a business trip in Poland...and I was quite lucky to have the chance to spend a night in that jewel named Gdansk!.
this is a city rich in history where cultures (Polish and German one in particular) are clearly tangled together.

This is a blue hour POV on ulica Dluga, the most important street in the old city. In the background you can see the city hall (Ratusz)

la leggera deformazione prospettica nulla toglie a questo splendido scatto che ha nella bellezza dei suoi colori il punto di forza.
Cielo fantastico e belle le luci dei locali lungo la piazza.

Alla prima pensavo fosse il Portogallo ....
Poi alla seconda ho pensato "sarà mica andato al meeting in Polonia" ....naaa
Alla fine ho guardato la foto, ma cos'hai preso un ottica nuova...non mi ricordavo che avevi un grandangolare così estremo...
Comunque il pov non è male, mi piace particolarmente la luce sul lato di destra, soprattutto su quegli alberi verdi al centro, avrei smorzato un po' di strumento manuale le due prime lampade e il riflesso su quel panello del menù lì a destra...ma un pelo.
Buon fine settimana ... anche se non vieni a castelluccio!! ;-))

che bella profondità hai dato a questa ora blu che ci mostra la via sfavillante di luci in un contesto architettonico veramente suggestivo. 4 secondi di gestione delle luci spesi molto bene. Bravo!

Witaj Silvio, Again in Poland and no time for Warsaw? Maybe next time.. fantastic night view of Gdansk. Classical view but classics never is boring :))). Was it so late that there is no people there? fantastic colours and reflected lights.

Una molto bella "blue hour" in questa fomosa città. Il punto di vistio è molto ben scelto e dà una bella propsettiva. Una molto buona gestione della luce. Questa dorada luce sorgo molto ben sul cielo blu. Complimenti per quest'ottimo fotolavoro.

mi piace molto questa blue hour, con i riflessi delle luci sul pavimento della piazza.
Bella anche la prospettiva; preferisco l'effetto grandangolo alle linee raddrizzate in PP.

A fine night view of the city, with fine detail and light well mananged. A wonderful contrast between the golden tones of the houses and of the tower and the dark blue evening sky.

It is such a beuatiful blue hour shot, and I mean really blue the sky. Amazing how you get this with out too many people in it. Lovely colors great details for a night shot. Good composition and excellent quality. I love it.
