Photographers Note
The cranes were built in the 70s in the Gdansk shipyard, now they are the symbol of our city, they are planned to disappear from our cityscape, there were a few debates how to protect them and I hope they'll be enlisted as the National Heritage Symbols.
The picture was taken from Góra Gradowa (46m) - see my previous photo:)I really liked the wild roses but at the same time the CRANE theme seemed to be MORE important:)

Hello Gosia,
These are cranes with a story deeply embedded in Europe's history of the last decades...
A fine sharp view of these big birds lifting their necks. I would have preferred greater depth to include the wild roses in a sharper wxay.
Regards,
Paul

You took a splendid photo of this panorama with spectacular composition. The industrial zone is very impressive sight, the blooming foreground is amazing...I like the contrast between the foreground and the background. Effective and attractive shot. Tfs!

Czesc Gosia,
swietny punkt widzenia na zurawie. Ja bym osobiscie wolal z glebia ostrosci ale pewnie tak jak teraz jest bardziej artystycznie... Zielony kolor swietnie ozywia ten przemyslowy krajobraz,

Hi Gosia
a very interesting, unusual (for TE) urban landscape. The cranes in the background look like some mechanical trees, a good contrast with the flowers in the foreground. Well done!
Have a nice day

Ah, another great shot of the cranes! I really do hope they don't get torn down! The roses are indeed beautiful too and add to the photo... but maybe there are in fact too many roses and distracting from the skyline? I wonder how it would look a bit more cropped with just a few roses for a splash of colour in the foreground - panorama style perhaps. Na ja, just an idea. :)
Cheers,
Jordan

Hello Gosia. In the foreground the rose garden, in the background industry and houses. What for a contrast. The contrast makes the photo very delightful. Altogether a good idea, in the best way realizes. Regards, Wolfgang.

Hello Gosia,
I love the contrast of the industrial shipyard landscape and the roses. I would have been tempted to crop the blurred lower edge of the image -- I don't think that would impair the balance.
I really hope the restructuring agreement works out and the shipyard can be saved. Keep us informed.

Mary

jest przewaga tych symboli miasta od większości innych - te są żywe! - czy widziałaś kiedyś Kościół Mariacki odwrócony w lewo czy prawo?
Pozdrawiam,
