Glowny (=Railway Station)

Gdanks by train takes from Frankfort/Germany about 30 hours - a flight less then 2 hours. Gdansk is one of the most vibrant cities in Poland. The reconstruction of the Old Town is great, you could discovers a beautiful city.

This is a nice shot of this great station. The angle of the shot is fine giving the scene nice depth and direction. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and detail. The deep blue sky provides a nice backdrop for the shot.

Hallo Achim,
ein großer Bahnhof in hanseatischem Stil? Ganz ungewöhnlich (wenigstens für mich, der so weit von entfernt von den Hansa-Städten lebt) und sicherlich dem romantischen Geschmack des 19-ten Jahrhunderts entsprechend, mir gefällt er doch. Gut fotografiert, man spürt die Größen gut.

This is one of my favourites towns. Beautiful and I have studied there. Although the photo isn`t the best because of the wires, I like it, it`s sentimental for me :).

The railway station architecture is really beautiful. The red colour of the bricks & tiles offer fine contrast with the blue sky. Interesting to see KFC written on the roof tiles. Good work!

The diagponal line of the fence is an asset to the composition. The lampost have a graphical effect. The point of view is showing with precision the details and colors of the architecture of the buildings. The intensity of the light is enhancing the colors. have a nice day.
