Yesterday was my 7-th anniversary on TE. I haven't prepared any special photo for this occasion, as I supposed that there would be no Internet connection. But it is. I am afraid that you can be bored already with lakes and boats, so we went for a small sightseeing to Chojnice, a small town nearby. I remember Chojnice from the time we were here 45 years ago, but it also changed. The Market Square is renovated and pretty.
As many people on TE, I can say that my life has changed since I have jioned the site. It means of course many hours, what say, probably weeks or month spent with camera and then at the computer. In may gallery there are 1919 photos, but there are also some workshops, so probably there is more than 2000. In this time I visited many countries, but the most important are the friendships made here. I am happy that I have friends all around the world. I have met already more than 100 people personally and I hope for many more. It is a pity that many Trekkers left the site, but some of them I can still "see" on Facebook or Photofolia.
I chose this photo made a few hours ago, as it is a bit of postcard, and a bit of street scene. And my personal tradition is that I post photos from the places just visited.

My congratulations. I have been here about the same time but i have only posted half as many photos. You are always too fast for me :-).
This is a fine photo from yet another Polish town I had hardly heard of. I wish Swedish rural towns would have central squares looking as nice as this, but most of the town centres were pulled down in the 50's and 60's to make room for identical department stores and parking-houses. Today most of them are hopelessly boring, while this looks so pretty. The colours are really superb too. I think maybe the photo is tilted a bit to the right. Never mind.
Tomorrow I will go to Helsinki for just a few days. Strangely I have never been there! The forecasts say it will be raining most of the time, so I will probably visit a lot of museums.
All the best,
Ooops! Sorry, I had forgotten I had no smileys left. Well, you don't care about points anyway, do you? :-)

Exquiste picture especially with the main subject: the red stones building, malgo.
Details are immaculate, sharp and distinct with good contrast to sky and houses on side's.
Pigeons and people on the move, scale well the image.
*** By the way, my cong.'s for the 7th anniversary, have lots more with much traveling as you always do.

What a lovely photograph to celebrate your 7th anniversary on TE. This is a fine example of both, a postcard and a street shot. The gorgeous colours of the imposing building stand out against the moody sky while the street is made lively by the people as well as those lovely pigeons.
Thanks for sharing and have a great new week ahead.

Congratulations on seven years! I always enjoy the architecture in Polish towns, and this red building in the center is a beauty. The windows and the details near the clock are lovely. With all of the people and pigeons, it's a colorful and lively daily life scene. Here's to many more years on TE! :-)

Congratulations with your 7-th anniversary on this site!
So you thought to celebrate this happening in complete isolation and without being connected to the rest of the world :) Such places exist hardly today.
I like the architecture of the town hall of Chojnice. Lots of pretty decorations and what a vivid colour! A stark contrast with the soft tones of the facades of the adjacent houses.
An interesting and lively foreground with the pedestrians and especially with the many pigeons. Some pigeons are so accustomed to people that they continue laying comfortably in front of you.
Best regards, Paul

Congratulations on your 7th anniversary on TE. You have chosen a very nice shot for this special occasion. The lighting and colors are fine and the photo has fine sharpness. The stones in the square leads the eye into the shot.

Congratulations on your 7th TE anniversary, and best wishes for many more rewarding adventures and photographic challenges.
The Chojnice Market Square building is impressive, the steep center façade with buttresses supporting ornate towers. And a bonus with the fancy fountain in front, plus strolling visitors and a flock of pigeons.

You're a TE veteran, and have given us a gallery full of fun, interesting and well taken photographs to enjoy. As many have said before me, I also hope to see many more to follow...and I'm thrilled we'll be able to share some of them together! :)) Congratulations on hitting the 7 year mark!
A lovely town square, I really like the rustic red color of the centerpiece building in this composition, and the accented ones that surround it...and all brightly lit by the sky above. Looks like a great place for people and birds alike. ;) See you shortly. Take it easy.
Cheers from the desert,

Congratulations with your 7the anniversary on Trekearth.
Every picture again is, I think, a special one. You have chosen it with care to share with the Trekearth-community. It shows what is interesting for you and what is interesting for your TE-friends.

happy anniversary! I think you deserve a "long service award" with so many of those around when you joined have left the site. But as I have said before no other site is like this one and that is the reason I stay and it is people like you Malgo that make all the difference. A strikingly unusual building to mark this milestone and captured beautifully.
Regards - B.

Seven years - well done! This is a very fine picture with well saturated colours and sharpness. I like the people going about their daily lives in front of the beautiful architecture.
Very well done.
Best wishes, Ann

Congratulations for your 1919 wonderful pictures, I did not see them all yet, but working on it. There is so much to learn about photography and the world from your gallery. I like this unusual building and its bold colour. I would like to see side view of it also.
All the bests,

thanks so much for your 7 years of service!
it just wouldn't be the same without you here, thats for sure.
now that i've been to Poland, i think i would have guessed this was a Polish scene without the notes or places listed..it just has that Polish look i suppose.
lovely colors, lovely light. hard to believe you have almost 2000 posted photos!

I am so sorry to have missed your 7th Anniversary here on TE. Congratulations dear friend. I am 1 year behind you. You certainly make TE a livelier place. A beautiful photo to celebrate with. The colours and sharpness are really impressive, so much that it seems three dimensional. I like the pigeons placed in the left foreground, which give a sense of scale and dynamism.
