A pleasant take on this half forgotten jewish tomb, where nature is slowly taking over again. The deep saturated greens of the vegetation frame this tombstone nicely and there is a certain mood of derelict and bygone times in this timeless document.
happy new year

Nothing seems to mark the passage of time like a cemetery, a stone erected in eternal memory, never that we can forget he who lies here begins to crack and fall apart. I always find these places fascinating and this is a great scene, a beautiful composition in front of the rich browns and greens. Really nicely done.

Is this just time taking its toll or a case of vandalism? You have taken a fine photo and captured a somewhat sad atmosphere surrounding this half fogotten tomb in a cemetary which is slowly turning into a forest.

It looks rather forlorn this battered old tombstone with no-one to care for it. Nevertheless, it makes a fine subject for the keen photographer. You have framed the shot well setting the stone in context. I like the colours and sharpness. Excellent rendering of the textural detail.

Good shot of this tombstone in ruins. It is set in real sylvan surroundings and that creates a kind of mysterious and spooky mood. Good detailing, with natural colors and light.
I think that is a gun shot mark in the middle. Someone must be really angry to kill a dead man/woman once again :-) Thanks for sharing.

It's too bad that people don't have respect the dead, looks like this tombstone was vandalized. Nicely captured with good details. Well done, tfs.

po polsku to brzmialoby bardziej atrakcyjnie: "zab czasu". Nagrobek wyglada doslownie jak nieco nadgrziony. Szkoda a jednak zniszczenie dodaje fotogenicznosci... Napisy w hebrajskim dodaja egzotyki.
