City of Toruń. Toruń is one of the most beautiful cities of Poland. Picturesquely located on the both banks of the Vistula River, at a site of intersection of ancient trade routes, it has been propagating its traditional economy and openness to the world for nearly 800 years. The gothic buildings of Toruń's Old Town, which won the designation of World Heritage Site from UNESCO in 1997, present proof of Toruń's centuries-old economic, cultural and intellectual ties with the leading cities of Europe associated in the Hanseatic League. The charm and harmony when viewing Toruń from the Vistula river make this panorama one of Toruń symbols and distinctive features. The panorama can be fully admired from the viewpoint in Majdany street, on the left river bank.

A nice view of this city with a composition well balanced with differents plans well delimited. A good framing too with the shits of the trees. Beautiful colours well satured. An image rich in details well collected.

Olá Mikolaj, very nice view of Torun from this side of the river indeed. Lovely framing with the tree and bushes on the corners and beautiful reflections on the river. The light wasn't perfect but it's much better than the rainny weather I got there when I visited the town in 13 years ago in August.

A lovely scene of another beautiful site in Poland.
The composition, with its three horizontal layers, is perfect.
I like the use of the trees as natural frames.
The terra cotta roofs look very attractive against the pale blue of the sky.

dear Mikolaj Kawa,
these buildings on river side look having been watching the river flowing for long time.
in this scene, I don't know whether the river is flowing downstream or the buildings are going forward...
perhaps both two may be right at the same time.
the combination of the building and the river is always mysterious like this shot.
