Photographer’s Note

Formerly Evangelical Trinity Church in the city of Torun, New Town Market Square. Built 1818-1824, design by Karl Friedrich Schinkel. In 1927-1939 Orthodox church of St. Nicholas. After World War II – magazine. It was renovation in 1993. In 1994-1999 abode of The International Film Festival of the Art of Cinematography “Camerimage” (Międzynarodowy Festiwal Sztuki Autorów Zdjęć Filmowych “Camerimage”). New Town Market – a marketplace of dimensions 95x95 m. The former commercial and craft centre.

Hello Mikolaj,
A good composition of this very nice church with its surrounding square. I like the inclusion of the lamp and the chequerboard patterned pavements. Very good colours and sharpness.

Beautiful picture. The red of the bricks and the bright blue sky really go well together. I also like how you've corrected the lens distortion. In a shot like this it can really be a distraction.

Hello Mikolaj,
Very pretty contruction of the image, starting from a good point of view. I like the inclusion of the standard lamp in the foreground, and the use of the lines on the ground. Excellent colors and realization.

Hi Mikolaj,
Another great capture from Poland with wonderfull warm colors. The pov is correct as it gives an idea about the location and architecture of this nice church.
The only problem here is that the tower clock is wrong ! İt shows 12:00 but according the shadow of the street lamp it must be slightly earlier !!! :-)
Very good usefull notes as well; a perfect TE job.

Your picture has excellent colors, brightness and sharpness!
