Photographer’s Note

Photo performed long time ago. This was the period wherein I began seriously to see about with the photograph - so at least I judged. All that her referred was for me important. Many I read on the subject the photograph, I tried well to recognize her secrets. So to me then it seemed and thanks to this I did not fear the photograph little banal. I had many courages to the experimentation. There fascinated me the glass, animals and people, the architecture and the macro the photograph. I experimented with the portrait, but least then I did landscapes. This almost profile photo is one of examples of this what I did almost thirty years back...

Zenith E with the lens Helios 44 2/58. Negative material ORWO NP 20. Presenting photo is a picture obtained from scanning of the copy 18x25 cm.

czesc Jerzy, fajnie, ze pokazujesz nam takze swoje prace sprzed lat, zrobione nie sprzetem, ktory wiekszosc ustawien zalatwia za Ciebie, ale gdzie musiales wiele rzeczy przeanalizowac, przemyslec zanim wcisnales spust migawki (chocby takze ze wzgledu na dostepnosc materialow fotograficznych) ...
samo zdjecie ma bardzo fajny klimat, jaki lubie na fotografii, podoba mi sie,

kapitalne!
no ja sobie wyobrażam poznań sprzed 25 lat, św. marcin, albo rynek, ta muza, dyskusje nad szklaneczką koniaku, może jakieś znane twarze wokół - filip bajon np.,
ale to jest kapitalna praca,

Warto sięgać głęboko do szuflady. Wiem coś o tym. Świetnew zdjęcie w doskonałej tonacji. Sywletka pięknie zarysowana na tle okna. Dobra robota... Pozdrawiam.

No to powia³o histori±... Przypomnia³e¶ to co by³o tak dawno a jednocze¶nie jest w nas g³êboko zakorzenione. To zdjêcie mówi samo za siebie. Nic dodaæ nic uj±æ.

Very good, Jerzy, I like the high contrast level here, which highlights only the neccessary and leaves all the rest in shadow for our imagination.

Ostatnio Jan dawal nam stare zdjecia z Wietnamu wiec ty postanowiles dac na cos jeszcze starszego ze swojego archiwum. Niedawno duzo myslalem nad swoim dzicinstwem i latach 80tych spedzonych w Polsce i jak, mimo ze byl PRL i komuna, to jednak byly to dla mnie swietne lata dziecinstwa, i ze Polska byla wtedy jakas inna niz teraz, nie lepsza, to tylko sentyment ale wlasnie to zdjecie jest takie sentymentalne. Dzieki za ta podroz w czasie. Zdjecie swietne, b/w ale bardzoe duotone dzieki swiatlu
