Photographer’s Note

Pomeranian Philharmonic (Filharmonia Pomorska im. Ignacego Jana Paderewskiego) in the city of Bydgoszcz. The Philharmonic Hall built in 1953-1958 in a neo-classical style (880 seats). Design by Stefan Klajbor, contstructor Bogdan Piestrzyński, concert hall acoustics Witold Straszewicz. Inside one can also find collections of: tapestries, busts of XX century and contemporary Polish graphics. The Pomeranian Philharmonic's core activities include organizing two festivals. These are the Bydgoszcz Music Festivals (since 1963) and the “Musica Antiqua Europae Orientalis” International Festival (held every three years since 1966), which are supplemented by numerous congresses focusing on musicology and Slavic studies.

Niesamowicie czyste zdjecie. Prosty kadr, z gatunku tych "mucha nie siada". Kompozycja jak dzwon. Ciekawe info. Niczego wiecej nie potrzebuje.

Czesc,
piekny budynek z przeznaczeniem na szczytny cel. Nie wszedzie mozna spotkac filharmonie. Nic dziwnego, ze miasto wydaje swiatu np. wybitnych pianistow. Super swiatlo i kolory. Dobra robota.

Pusto cos na tym placu, ale coz koncerty odbywaja sie wieczorami, wiec nic dziwnego, ze za dnia pustawo tutaj. Fajne niebo, czyste jak krysztal. Fajowskie kolory. Jak zawsze, ciekawa notatka informacyjna.

Czolem Mikolaju!
Bylem w tej filharmonii na kilku koncertach, wiec patrze na to zdjecie z przyjaznia. Zdjecie zreszta broni sie samo, jest dobre, bez dyskusji.
Podoba mi sie jego sterylna czystosc.

Hi Mikolaj,

This is a building I didn't get to see while in the city. I like your perspective with the wide amount of floor on the foreground. The light is very effective to enhance details and the colours seem very natural. A beautiful building and image. Thanks Mikolaj.
