Photographer’s Note
The Granaries include three half-timbered corn granaries from 1793 – 1800 (9 and 11 Grodzka street) and the so-called Dutch granary (7 Grodzka street) built in 1793.
The agricultural and food products which were being transported to Gdansk by waterway were stored there.
At present, the Granaries house the Regional Museum of Leon Wyczółkowski. The three granaries, introduced into the Bydgoszcz landscape, are one of the symbols of the City. At 13 Stary Port street, there is a half-timbered three-storey granary built in 1830 – 1840 and covered with a ridge roof with protruding windows.
