Photographer’s Note

Vang stave church, also Vang stavkirke, is a stave church which was bought by the Prussian King and transferred from Vang in Norway and re-erected in 1842 in Brückenberg near Krummhübel in Germany, now Karpacz in the Karkonosze mountains of Poland.
The church is a four-post single-nave stave church originally built around 1200 in the parish of Vang in the Valdres region of Norway.

Hello Krzysztof,
An interesting upwards point of view, which makes good use of the graphical lines offered by the architecture. The clear blue sky makes a fine backdrop and I like the light and shadow play across the façade. Very good sharpness.

Hi Krzystof,

At first view a thought you mistook in the place you made this picture until I read your info. This blue Polish sky is just the same as I can remember from Norway. Original and good POV.

Na mnie ilekroæ jestem w Karpaczu te¿ zawsze robi wra¿enie ten niesamowity Wang. Skrawek pañstwa Wikingów na naszej ziemi. Wspania³y POV i doskona³a ostro¶æ.

Witaj Krzysztof,
Mi to sie raczej z Azja kojarzy. Typowe ksztalty i elementy wykonczenia dla tej czesci polkuli. Po Norwegii kiedys jezdzilem, ale nie zwracalem na to wtedy uwagi. Bez watpienia niezla wizytowka Karpacza. Nastepnym razem musze sie wybrac w tamte regiony ;) Sprytna kompozycja.

Ciekawie pokazany stary kosciolek. Ladna kolorystyka,przyjemny kontrast pomiedzy blekitem nieba a budynkiem swiatyni, interesujace scczegoly.
