Photographer's Note

One of the rooms of the National Museum with exhibits from the Middle Ages. In the picture you can see the tombstone of Henryk Pobozny, Henry II the Pious, Duke of Silesia, Cracow and Great Poland. During the Mongol invasion in 1241 he became the head of a coalition of troops of many Polish principalities. He was defeated and killed by Mongols in the Battle of Legnica, and among the many dead people he was identified by an anatomical anomaly: he had six toes on his left foot.

It is not allowed to use neither flash nor tripod in the museum.
