Photographer's Note

Baroque entrance to the Orphanotropheum.
The Orphanotropheum, a former orphanage, is one of the most impressive Baroque buildings in Wrocław. It served as a educational care facility for indigent youth from noble families. It was built in 1702-1715 right next to the church of St. Peter and St. Paul.
Over the years, the building has served many purposes it was a seat of several church institutions.
I houses today the Diocesan Pastoral Centre.
