Photographer's Note

The Ossolinski National Institute, also called Ossolineum, is one of the largest Polish libraries. It is situated in a beautiful baroque building in Wroclaw formerly owned by the Military Order of the Crusaders of the Red Star. Since 1819, in the building was situated the famous Catholic St. Matthias School , and after the World War II in the reconstructed building were located collections of books and manuscripts of the Ossoliński National Institute moved from Lviv.
In the photo you can see the main buildingof the Institute and illuminated brink of the Oder river.
