Photographer's Note

View of the oldest part of Wroclaw – the Cathedral Island.
You can see the Church of St. Mary on the Sand and the Cathedral Bridge.
Tumski (Cathedral) Bridge is one of the 140 bridges that cross five rivers in Wroclaw. The Tumski Bridge was constructed in 1889, this steel bridge replaced an old wooden bridge to connect Cathedral Island and Sand Island. It is the lovers' bridge. Here, lovers 'lock their love' in a padlock which they hook into the bridge, and then toss the key into the river.
The Church of St. Mary on the Sand is a monastery church. This is a Gothic three-nave Church built in 1334-1375, located on the Sand Island.
