Photographer's Note

Historical houses of Ostrow Tumski - "Cathedral Island" - the oldest part of the city of Wroclaw.
Ostrow Tumski was formerly an island between branches of the Oder River. The first constructions on Ostrów Tumski were built in the 10th century by the Piast dynasty.
In 1315 Ostrow Tumski was sold to the church authorities.
Nowadays the island belongs almost entirely to the Wroclaw's Archdiocese, therefore, most buildings are taken by the Church-related institutions.

Joli cadrage sur ces belles façades à colombages de Ostrow Tumski. La petite couche de neige sur les toits permet d'avoir une belle unité de tons.

swietnie uchwyciles w swoim kadrze piekno tej architektury.Dobrze,ze zdecdowales sie na bardziej przyblizona i szczegolowa prezentacje tej sceny.Zdjecie ma super jakosc i oddaje bardzo dobrze wszelkie detale tej architektury.

a shot full of the wonderful detail of these old houses. Made all the more compelling sugared with a dusting of snow. Somewhat surprised that the authorities allow satellite dishes to be attached to these ancient walls. Fascinating lines and angles here.
