Ostrów Tumski, a photo from Dolnoslaskie, West

Photographer's Note

Wroclaw is one of the biggest and beautiful towns in Poland and its oldest part is Ostrow Tumski. The town was built on the banks of the river Odra, which is quite meandering in this area. As a result, in the centre of Wroclaw there are plenty of small and charming islands, very often connected with each other by tiny bridges.
The most famous and probably the most stunning is Ostrow Tumski. It is perfect place for romantic walks among medieval buildings, most of which are gothic churches and cathedral.
This photo was taken on the last day of this year in the very early morning, when the sun was not to bright and cast nice and warm light.

Lovely and beautiful skyline!
Attractive and pleasant-looking picture!
Special regards to the horizontal format, slim black borders, chosen pov, colors, exposure and composition with those reflections!!! I miss a bit more of sharpness. Nothing serious, of course!

This shot makes me feel very serene and romantic, it's well managed with excellent perspectives and light display with its subtle light and colors. The compo works well and you've done a great job of retaining the details throughout with good control of exposure in subtle colours/tones. The shimmering water further adds to the sensation and lovely that you have managed to inject specks of stunning vivid colours to trigger the sense. It's a fine photo work, Congrats.

This is asplendid view of the city with a beautiful winter light and fine refelctions . Of course the cobination of red blue and green is yet more beautiful in summertime . May be a little lack of sharpness here , but that is a minor point .

a very fine fresh photo from a very beautiful place. I think there is a slight tilt to the left but this might be only my impression because of the perspective. I love the depth and the symmetry offered by the mesmerising reflections. The warm light, the vivid colours and the allure of the architecture make the view absolutely delightful and inviting. Czesc Kamila,
uroczy widok z Wroclawia.
Ladne swiatlo, ciekawy punkt widzenia.
Odbicia w rzece dodaja jeszcze wiecej uroku.
Pisalem poprzedni komentarz po angielsku bo myslalem ze jestes z Grecji.

The red roofs work so beautifully against that light blue sky, and the reflectio is a huge bonus. Your note certainly reinfoirces your image, this looks like a stunning city.

This is indeed a fine view of as you say, one of the most beautiful towns of Poland. Your framed it well with the foliage in the FG. The reflections look nice in the mirrorlike water. The spires dominate & create strong focal points. I wouldn't have minded a bit more of sharpness. But colours & contrasts are excellent
