Pergola, a photo from Dolnoslaskie, West

Photographer's Note

Pergola in Wroclaw is built in the shape of half an ellipse. It was constructed in the early twentieth century (1913) around the pound with the fountain in the similar shape. Pergola contains two rows of concrete pillars topped with grating on which you can spot vines. The length of Pergola is around 640 meters and it has in total 750 concrete pillars.

Fantastic graphism and the shadows have added symmetry and reinforced & enlivened the perspective as well. Good sharpness and density. Nice repetition of the stone columns with marvellous shadow detail. A magnificent blue sky backdrop. Appreciated all the more after living in east Asia where it would take a minor miracle to get a sky like this! Have a nice weekend!
