Photographer's Note

The castle dates back to the fourteenth century when the Knights Templar built a tower in order to ensure the safety of merchants and goods being transported. In the sixteenth century the tower was enlarged, and in the nineteenth century was built a residence in the Renaissance style. After World War II it was used as a storehouse and only in 2002 was started renovation of the castle. Today it is a luxury hotel. In one of the buildings of the former castle is the Car Museum. It organizes the annual autumn meeting of old cars. Before the building you can see a few of them.
