Photographer's Note

Museum of Folk Culture of the Sudety Foothills in Pstrążna
The heritage park was founded in 1984 in order to save the traditional culture and wooden country architecture. It is picturesquely situated at the mountain side overlooking Sniezka Mountain and the Karkonosze Mountain Range. Various buildings were reconstructed here, for example a brick inn, belfry, barn and on the very top a gorgeous windmill.
In the photo:
The peasant hut erected in the first half of the 19th century as a rectangle shaped building. The roof is covered with pieces of shingle. The house is divided by the hall leading from the entry to the backdoor forming a room part of the building and a part of two farm lodgings.
In the hut is organized the traditional bread baking.
