Photographer's Note

Of particular pride in Lower Silesia are its palaces and castles. One in every four of the castles and palaces in Poland are found right here in this region.

In the picture you can see the palace in Biskupice Podgórne, near Wroclaw. The baroque palace was built in the first half of the eighteenth century and completely rebuilt in 1897. The palace was destroyed during the Second World War. Today is restored by a private investor. In the palace could be a hotel, it is still ongoing renovation work.

Hello Ryszard ,
A beautiful little palace , original , with its only bulb roofed tower . The garden is not very well maintained , but I understand that the house is in renovation .

Piekny palacyk pokazujesz, zastanawiam sie czy nie wolalbym aby wieza byla bardziej zblizona do prawej strony kadru, wtedy kompozycja bylaby mniej wysrodkowana. To tylko taka moja osobista koncepcja:-)
