Photographer's Note
Cottage - Country House, usually wooden.
Cottage often consisted of three chambers: the middle - the hallway and the two sides - black and white. Black Chamber was the main room, stood in her oven. Served as the kitchen and sometimes the bedroom. White House room was more representative. Serve residential purposes only. In addition to the white chamber often built an additional room - a chamber that serves as a warehouse.
Around since the 70s Twentieth century, traditional cottages are rare in Poland.
The roof of the hut was usually covered with thatch or shingles. The walls were built of wooden beams. At first floor of a cottage was usually an earthen threshing floor or improv and only later began to use the floor with wooden planks. The subsequent solutions were made as a structural ceiling improv, which were an integral part of dried straw reeds.

Hello Jozef ,
A pretty and picturesque cottage . I like the wooden fence and the washing in front of the white walls of the thatched house . A fine framing and a good quality of the scan .

Witaj Jozef,
Zycze milej niedzieli

Hello Josef,
Nice to see such cute cottages with wooden fence. The green trees create a nice atmosphere. Excellent colors, sharpness and light. Nice inclusion of the clothes hanging on the rope.
