[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The Old Town in Olsztyn is the heart of the city. The Old Townhall (Stary Ratusz) is on the left; the tower of gothic St Jacob's Cathedral is peering from behind the row of houses.... The place seems peaceful but is it? Unless you miss a large,loud grop of young people in the background, marching through the city to protest against the changes made by the Education Minister ;-)

Wot, olsztyńska Starówka. Po lewej wiekowy Stary Ratusz - dzisiejsza biblioteka i galeria; zza kamienic wygląda wieża gotyckiej katedry Św. Jakuba. Cicho i spokojnie, jak na centrum... Jesli nie liczyć marszu przeciw Ministrowi Edukacji Narodowej, który akurat przechodzi w tle ;-)

nice composition, lot of details.

Hello Joanna,
As usual a well composed picture telling a little story, even though the story this time is behind us. However, the police bus parked by the square indicates that there is somethong going on. Fine colours and interesting buildings.

A beautiful old town and a good picture with the woman well placed in the composition. The police car in the background supports your note...

Hi Joanna,

This is a city I should visit when I am in Poland again. I like the gothic architecture of many Polish cities, specially because of the colourful facades. Nice angle and light to compose this image. The woman on the right add a nice balance to the image. Cheers :-)
