Photographer's Note

One of ports of the city of Elbl±g on the river Elbl±g which is swimming into the The Vistula Lagoon. They here are effecting the trans-shipment of bulk goods (coal, grain and other). The large portion is arriving from Russian Kaliningrad.
In the background visible grain elevator.

The grim weather gave the atmosphere to the picture. High POV works well and we can see a vast area. Good general quality as well.

A pretty river side in a cold day with the background that diffuses to nothing, rendering a special effect with the boats as effective points of reference to the shot. But even with the fog you have still have got great dof, great lead in lines to work with guiding the eyes into the foggy distance extending the depth a the same time. I like the moody atmosphere here and the whole feeling of the picture. Fine works and worth the effort my friend. Congrats and TFS

Taka niestety jest u nas na wybrze¿u zima, zawsze taka mokra i listopadowa. Ci±gle deszcz, mg³a i szaruga. Ale dziêki temu oszczêdzamy na ogrzewaniu. Piekne zdjecie pokazuj±ce szar± rzekê Elbl±g. Doskona³a jako¶æ obrazu.

The grey misty atmosphere is very redolent of a cold winter's day. I like the point of view looking down the river toward the focal points offered by the grain silo and the tower in the far distance. Lots of interesting detail to take in. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Aleksander,
A very pale and subdued picture, the sky melts together with the water in the harbour. There are some colours in the boats and some distinct forms in the trees and the building. A very peaceful but quite cold scene!

There is a nice mood in this photo. At least it looks nice here, maybe not so much in reality. The fog makes the colours very mild and pleasant. The large building looks a bit spooky as it is standing all alone, half lost in the mist.
