Photographer’s Note
Basilica kielecka, orginaly Collegiate Romanesque church with 2 towers, was built in 1171A.D. by Cracow bishop Gedeon fundation. Many rebuilts were done by centuries.Reconstruction in XIX century, gave it early baroque character. On the north wall, there is a unique monument from the Age of Enlightenment, plate of "Michała Arcybiskupa, Brata Stanisława Augusta" fundation.
This plate fulfilles a role of elementary and a lenght measure patterns. Small and Capital letters, principles of catechism, information on measuring and weighting, and lenght lines of "paris feet" , "english feet" and a "crown elbow" were all detected on it.
