Photographer's Note

This wooden Orthodox chapel is a part of the skansen (open air museum) in Białowieża, north-east of Poland, close to the Belorussian border. Białowieża is a tiny village situated in a heart of the Białowieski National Park.
Most of Poles belong to the Roman Catholic Church. However Eastern Orthodox Church is the largest religious minority - above 500 000 believers inhabiting mostly eastern part of Poland.
