Photographer’s Note
This photo is from a clearing in the forest near a place called Ciemny Kąt, just outside Stalowa Wola. I liked the simplicity of the scene with the almost colourless sky matching the snow on the ground and the bands of colour from the tree trunks and leaves adding the colour. There are some nature trails here and there is also a barbeque area that you can hire for the evening. There are huts with wood-burning grills in the middle and beers are available from the people who run the site.
