Photographer’s Note
The castle of the noble Lubomirski family is one of the most characteristic monuments of architecture in Rzeszów.
The construction work on this fortified residence was started, presumably towards the end of the 16th century, by the then owner of Rzeszów, Mikołaj Spytek Ligęza.
Its quite probable that there used to be some earlier buildings in the place of the present-day castle.
