I think there is some irony in your photo, there is a higly poluted area and a fisherman fishing near this area. Good work, you represent every detail of polution, also your composition and color selection is perfect.

W pierwszej chwili my¶la³em, ¿e by³e¶ z wizyt± u Jasmisa na ¦l±sku. Jara siê tu strasznie. A to Mazowsze... To¿ tam piaski powinny dominowaæ a nie dymi±ce kominy! Ciekawy pomys³ z tym kolorkiem. I zdaje siê nawet rybak tam jaki¶ ryby ³owi.

Hello Jack,
This is a wonderful shot both visually and technically. The combination of the industrial site and the rural landscape in the foreground is remarkable. The sepia treatment helps to unite the two , and to emphasise the misty atmosphere.

A strong meaning in this picture. The contrast between the fisherman, fishing in the river, and the big smoky factories on the background is awesome!.
It could be a perfect ecologic add.
The lights, and this grey sepia colours works really well, improving this feeling of smoky area.

A really good shot in which the smoky atmosphere from the factory's smoke comes in opposition with the romantic feeling that the fisherman and the sepia tones gives to the composition.

This is at least as beautiful as romantic Far Eastern landscapes, with tiny fishermen havng conical hats on their heads. But no, this is a devastating industrial landscape, the true and bitter landscape of our modern time. It is stunning how you give it with such fine atmosphere and light. Excellent quality as well. This reminds me of Jonas Bendiksen's photo of the famous Satellites, which taken the children playing on the contaminated satellite.

what a romantic scene despite the factory chimneys and the smog! maybe it is just because they are there to make it so beautiful. it reminds me of american classics. the fisherman is a nice bonus here and very eyecatching, though tiny. all in all, this is a great shot.
