[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
People lining up to enter the Royal Palace in Warsaw during "The Night of Musems" held tonight (museums across Poland are open till at least midnight and no fees are collected; it's once a year). At the same time the United Nations' bears are exibited in front of the Palace. The intention of the exhibition is to show through painted bears the diversity of cultures across the world to encourage our respect for one another.

Taken at ISO 1600, hand held, with Nikon D300 and Sigma 10-20 mm. Applied Dfine 2.0 (slightly) to reduce some noise (could have easily left it as it was, but I wanted to refine it a bit).

I like the reflected light on the dark stone street foreground and the interesting separation from the warm yellow lighted building. The dark shadows of the people and the dark images of the people and bears with the vertical rythmn of the bears offer the best buffer for the tension of the foreground area and the lighted upper area. Very well done!

Witam Tomasz,

I immediatly recognize the Zamek...though tones are quite particular. I like the czarny-zloty tones contrast and the well shaped persons and statues on the background

dobra robota
