Żelazowa Wola – the village in Poland laid in Mazovian province, in commune Sochaczew, well-known as place birth of Chopina's Fryderyk. Occupants' number - 65
The museum in village is the House of Birth Fryderyk Chopin. Manor-house surrounds park prepared in summers 1932-1939 according to project Francis Polkowski. Composer's monument in vicinity is executed by Joseph Gosławski.
It ferric the place of birth - was been will Henryk Szeryng, prominent violinist which here also he gave birth in 1918 and he died in Kassel in 1988.
First mention about village comes from with 1579 year with hamlets act, where as owners Żelazowa Wola - was exchanged Nicolaus and Peter Żelazo. Łuszczewscy under end XVIII lid owners were and then Paproccy. From these last in 1802 year the village bought the counts' family the Skarbek(Kacper and Ludwika) and living in manor from two annexe ( the building in shape of horseshoe; the present " manor-house" this the eastern annexe). Their children's Guwerner was Nicolaus Chopin. He 1 March (or 22 February) be bore Fryderyk as second the child of family Chopin. He in 1812 manor burnt from what they stayed two annexe. It it in 1834 year was resold was Żelazowa Wola family Szubert and then family Peszel. Next owner in years 1859-1879 was Adam Towiański. For 1879 manor had stayed in hands Alexander Pawłowski which in place birth Chopin prepared economic store-house. Monument in 1894 year with Russian composer's initiative Milij Bałakiriew was uncovered in park Fryderyk Chopin. During I War the annexe of manor burnt world right. In 1928 year the Varsovian Company of Friends of House Chopin and they bought from Sochaczew the Chopinian Committee the annexe and 3 h of the ground round building for 40000 zł from Roch Szymaniak which had been for 1918 year the owner of terrain. German soldiers during II world war were stacioned in manor-house, hospital under end of war was there

Czdeść józek, zawitałeś nawet na Mazowsze. Przyjemne zdjecie z Zelazowej Woli. Fajnie wygląda dworek za drzewami. Dawno juz tam nie byłam.

The lighting is perfect in this picture! It must have been difficult to get it so well, due to the different parts with shadows and the bright roof! The result is great! That's a really beautiful job!
