Here is another view of the old market place of Warsaw.
The historical area of Warsaw was subject to intense bombing during the WW2 and saw its historical marvels being damaged. Little by little, the Polish people dedicated resources to restore to castles, churches and ramparts their original beauty.
Today, when walking in these streets, one can be very impressed by the life in the various shops, restaurants, buildings. It seems that Polish people enjoy very much gathering in this area and walk along the strong walls.
At dusk, that market place displays a nice unreal face with its enlighten painted houses with high front walls. The mix of lights and nice colors make it a lovely spot to spend time. I especially enjoyed the huge exhibit with WW2 photography made on one part of the place with posters about three or four meters high.
Original picture slightly, rotated, recropped, ran through PTlens and Unsharp Masks. No tripod as it was a business trip, I just sat against the fountain, the elbows frozen in my legs to move as little as possible and shoot a dozen pictures...

Excellent night shot especially without a tripod. The motion at the market place gives dynamic into scene. Great job!

Interesting shot, Steven. Great evening light and colors. You've done a great job of keeping the buildings sharp while getting a lot of motion on the people. I might like to see just a bit of a crop on the bottom.

De Dubrovnik à Varsovie... c'est toute l'Europe de l'est que tu as visité... L'exposition longue en soirée donne un effet jour et ce flou des gens donne du mouvement! Bravo!

Very nice shot. I Like the combination of movement and the object that are not in a move (Like the bicycle).
I think there is a little pink wash in the picture.
anyway nice shot.

Very lively picture of this beautiful place. The blue of the sky is very clear and it's nice to see the same colour in the reflections in the windows. I think that the exposure is perfect and I like the mix of moving and static people.

I like the blur effect coming from the long exposure. It gives a dreamy atmosphere to the place. Otherwise a nice composition with a good management of perspective. The well saturated colours and the reflections on the windows are very appealing.

It feels very unearthly. I like it!It is excuted very well, especially considering you were not using a tripod. I like the motion blurs and the sharpness of the buildings.

This is definately a wall hanger. Looks like an original painting. Well done overall.

Those houses are truly unreal, like in a cartoon I think. This together with the movement and "ghosts" brings this ordinary pic many levels higher than if it was taken around noon...

Très jolie photo, bel effet de mouvement. C'est un bel endroit avec des petites maisons en hauteur. Bien vu Steven.

Very interesing effect - just some people are blurred more than others... that's distatracting to me... especially in the area where the bike is ....
