1st September was the last day of the Singer's Festival of Jewish Culture in Warsaw. So I went there - The atmosphere of this place and the scenery are very specific. and full of charm.
One can see the contrast between left and right sides. Left side is rebuild and the right is practically unchanged from the 2nd War to the present day. There are ruins of houses, only!
I'm going to continue and upload some other photos taken during this festival in the next days.
Próżna Street is an old street in Warsaw,. It is the only former Warsaw Ghetto street still featuring as many as four tenement houses.
The street is one of the few fragments of "Jewish Warsaw" in which the climate of the old Jewish quarter is revived during the Festival of Jewish Culture – Singer’s Warsaw. The festival has been held annually every September in Próżna Street and Grzybowski Square since 2004.
In 2011−2013 buildings at number 7 and 9 underwent extensive renovations and have become office space. [wiki]
Singer's Festival of Jewish Culture
Festival of Jewish Culture in Warsaw - "Singer's Warsaw" is an annual celebration of Jewish culture that has been held in Warsaw since 2004.
The Festival includes Jewish (both Hebrew and Yiddish) theater, music, films, exhibits and expositions. It attempts to recreate Jewish culture from the period of interwar Poland, complete with historical buildings and atmosphere. Regular features include kosher food (along with instructions as to how to prepare it in one's own kitchen), dancing, songs, crafts, ceramics and posters. Numerous workshops, discussion groups and seminars are also held on topics related to Yiddish culture.
The festival is organized by the Polish-Israeli-American Shalom Foundation, which began in 1988 on the initiative of Gołda Tencer, an actress and producer of the Jewish Theatre in Warsaw. The purpose of the foundation is the popularization of Jewish culture in Poland, and the remembrance of its Jewish communities.
The first annual festival was held in 2004 on the 100th anniversary of the birthday of Isaac Bashevis Singer (note that Singer's actual birth date is uncertain).

Creative ideas by merging both neatly together for better comparison and obviouly the buildings are in total contrast in style and age. It is a standout night shot well exposed and it's indeed a lively street shot filled with warm light and the sparkles of green tones add to the visual impact and perfectly contrasts to the night sky. Delightful cheery low light shot indeed and good quality so well taken, Congrats.

Original idea to separate this composition to the two parts. Perfect quality, excellent exposure. It could be very good reporter photo for a society column in the magazines or newspapers. ;)
have a good night!

Featiwal bez ludzi ciężko sobie wyobrazić, a tu frekwencja jest duża, dobre nocne zdjęcie, samo życie (i to kulturalne)

I'm really liking this idea to cut the street into two sides, it makes for an original look at something we see so often. On top of that, it appears that you've managed the exposure quite well so as not to blow out the highlights...generally tough to find a nice balance with the lighting condition and against a black sky. Looks to be a lively street for sure, there's certainly an air of activity conveyed here. Very well presented! Have a great day ahead. Take care.
All the best,

Ciekawe nocne zdjecie pelne ludzi i atmosfery. Interesujacy kontrast obu stron ulicy.
